    Direction: Read the following information carefully and answer the questions based on them.
    The staff of a bank are Mr. A, Mr. B, Mrs. C, Miss. D, Mr. E and Miss. F. The positions they occupy are manager, assistant manager, cashier, stenographer, teller and a clerk, though not necessarily in that order. The assistant manager is manager's grandson, cashier is stenographer's son-in-law. Mr. A is bachelor.
    Miss. D is teller's step sister and Mr. E is manager's neighbour. Mr. B cannot have a grandson or son-in-law as he is only 20 yr old.
    Who is the manager?

    A)  Mr. A              

    B)  Mrs. C

    Since, the assistant manager is manager's grandson, hence assistant manager is a male and cannot be Mrs. C, Miss. D or Miss. F. Secondly, manager is a married person and hence cannot be Miss. D or Miss. F. Cashier is stenographer's son-in-law. It means that cashier is a married male and hence cannot be either Mrs. C or Miss. D or Miss. F. Consequently, stenographer is a married person and hence cannot be either Miss. D or Miss. F. Miss. D is teller's step sister, it means that Miss, D cannot be teller and hence Miss. D is a clerk.
    Mr. A is a bachelor, therefore he cannot be any one of cashier, stenographer or manager, Mr. B cannot have a grandson or son-in-law. Therefore, Mr. B can be neither manager nor stenographer. Mr. E is manager's neighbour. Therefore, Mr. E cannot be the manager. After putting these information in the table, we get the respective professions of Mr. A, Mr. B, Mrs. C, Miss. D, Mr. E and Miss. F as in the table above.
