    Solution :

    Let us consider a packet or rice marked 1 kg. It's actual weight is 80% of \[1000\text{ }gm\text{ }=\text{ }800\text{ }gm\] Let C.P. of each gm be Rs. Then, C.P. of this packet= Rs.800 S.P. of this packet = 110% of C.P. of 1kg \[=\frac{110}{100}\times 1000=Rs.110\] \[\therefore \]  Gain \[%=\frac{\left( 1100-800 \right)}{1100}\times 100=37.5%\]
