    Solution :

    The speed of the faster one is 5 kmph and that of the slower one is 3 kmph. So, the faster one is ahead. So, let him catch up after x hours             \[5x-3x=70\,\,km\] or,        \[2x=70\] \[\therefore \]      \[x=35\] hours Hence the faster catch up the slower one after every 35 hours.
