    SP of lemons = Rs. 1, gain = 40% CP of 5 lemons=Rs. \[\left[ 1\times \frac{100}{140} \right]=\]Rs. \[\frac{5}{7}\] Now, Rs. \[\frac{5}{7}\] yield 5 lemons. Rs. 1 will yield\[\left[ 5\times \frac{7}{5} \right]=7\]lemons7 \[\therefore \]CP is 7 lemons for a rupee.
