    (i) Throughout Europe, Napoleon introduced a uniform system of weights and measures like the kilogram, metre and litre, based on the decimal system, while the old local sizes were abolished. (ii) A standardized registration of births, marriages,   divorces   and   deaths   was introduced. (iii) The social positions were abolished, including the special rights and privileges of the clergy and the aristocracy. (iv) Napoleon secured the right to property. (v) Education and healthcare were improved and made more accessible to ordinary citizens.
