By Sunil Verma
Science has made rapid progress in the modem age. It has changed our ways of living and thinking. It has reduced space and time. There is no sphere of life where science has not influenced us.
Science has given us electricity. It has made travelling very comfortable. Telephones and mobiles are a source of convenience and ease. Radio and television are a source of recreation. They enhance our knowledge. Machines havesaved us from unnecessary toil. They have saved our time and energy. Even agriculture has undergone a radicalchange.
Thus, it is clear that wonderful and effective inventions through science have made human life healthier and happierthan before. Hence, Mr A K Smith has written "In the sky above on the Earth below and down to the depths of the ocean has gone the triumphant car of science."
