     Let the number be x. According to the question, \[{{x}^{2}}+{{22}^{2}}=2333\] \[\Rightarrow {{x}^{2}}+484=2333\] \[\Rightarrow {{x}^{2}}=2333-484=1849\] \[\Rightarrow x=\sqrt{1849}=43\]
