    Solution :

     Length of rectangle = 9x metre Breadth = 7x metre According to the question. Area a 1008 sq. metre \[\Rightarrow 9x\times 7x=1008\] \[\Rightarrow {{x}^{2}}=\frac{1008}{9\times 7}=16\] \[\Rightarrow x=\sqrt{16}=4\] \[\therefore \] Perimeter \[=2\,(9x+7x)\] \[=32x=32\times 4=128\]metre
