    Solution :

    Let the ages of two brothers are x and 2ac yr respectively. According to question, \[\frac{x-5}{2x-5}=\frac{1}{3}\] \[\Rightarrow \]   \[3x-15=2x-5\] \[\Rightarrow \]   \[x=10\] \[\therefore \]      Required ratio\[=(10+5):(20+5)\]                         \[=15:25=3:5\]
