    Solution :

    Let the leak empty the full tank in x h. \[\frac{1}{3}-\frac{1}{x}=\frac{2}{7}\] \[\Rightarrow \]   \[\frac{1}{x}=\frac{1}{3}-\frac{2}{7}=\frac{7-6}{21}\] \[\Rightarrow \]   \[\frac{1}{x}=\frac{1}{21}\] \[\Rightarrow \] \[x=21\,h\]
