    Solution :

    \[\frac{a}{5}=\frac{b}{7}=\frac{c}{8}=k\] \[\Rightarrow \] \[a=5k,\] \[b=7k\]  and \[c=8k\] \[\therefore \] \[\frac{a+b+c}{a}=\frac{5k+7k+8k}{5k}=4\]
