    Solution :

    Circumference of base \[=66\,cm,\] \[\therefore \]      \[2\pi r=66\] \[\Rightarrow \]   \[r=\frac{66\times 7}{2\times 22}=\frac{21}{2}cm\] and height of cylinder \[=40\,cm\] \[\therefore \] Volume of cylinder \[=\pi {{r}^{2}}h\]             \[=\frac{22}{7}\times \frac{21}{2}\times \frac{21}{2}\times 40\]             \[=13860\,c{{m}^{2}}\]
