    Solution :

    Circumference of base of cylinder \[=11\,cm\] \[\therefore \]      \[2\pi r=11\] \[\Rightarrow \]   \[r=\frac{11\times 7}{22\times 2}=\frac{7}{4}cm\] and height of cylinder \[=8\,cm\] \[\therefore \] Volume of cylinder \[=\pi {{r}^{2}}h\]             \[=\frac{22}{7}\times \frac{7}{4}\times \frac{7}{4}\times 8=77\,c{{m}^{3}}\]
