    Let the CP of one article\[=Rs.\,x\] \[\therefore \] The tradesman gives an article free with 15 articles \[\therefore \] CP of 15 articles\[=Rs.\,16x\] SP of 15 articles\[=Rs.\frac{16\times 135}{100}x\]                         \[=Rs.\frac{108}{5}x\] SP of one article \[=Rs.\frac{108}{5\times 15}x\]                         \[=Rs.\frac{36}{25}x\] Now 96% of marked price \[=Rs.\frac{36}{25}x\] \[\therefore \] Marked price \[=\frac{36\times 100x}{25\times 96}=Rs.\frac{3}{2}x\] \[\therefore \] The required percentage increase \[=\frac{0.5x}{x}\times 100%=50%\]
