    When \[\left( \frac{1}{2}-\frac{1}{4}+\frac{1}{5}-\frac{1}{6} \right)\] is divided by \[\left( \frac{2}{5}-\frac{5}{9}+\frac{3}{5}-\frac{17}{18} \right),\] the result is

    A)  \[5\frac{1}{10}\]

    B)  \[2\frac{1}{18}\]

    C)  \[3\frac{1}{6}\]

    D)  \[3\frac{3}{10}\]

    Correct Answer: A

    Solution :

    \[\because \] \[\frac{1}{2}-\frac{1}{4}+\frac{1}{5}-\frac{1}{6}\] \[\frac{30-15+12-10}{60}=\frac{17}{60}\] And      \[\frac{2}{5}-\frac{5}{9}+\frac{3}{5}-\frac{7}{18}\]             \[=1-\frac{10+7}{18}=1-\frac{17}{18}=\frac{1}{18}\] Required result \[=\frac{17}{60}\times 18=\frac{51}{10}=5\frac{1}{10}\]
