    Solution :

    Let the side of a square \[=a\,cm\] Length of rectangle \[=(a+5)\,cm\] And breadth of rectangle \[=(a-3)\,cm\] \[\therefore \]      \[{{a}^{2}}=(a+5)(a-3)\] \[\Rightarrow \]   \[{{a}^{2}}={{a}^{2}}+5a-3a-15\] \[\Rightarrow \]   \[2a=15\] \[\Rightarrow \]   \[a=7.5\] \[\therefore \] Length of rectangle \[=(7.5+5)=12.5\,cm\] And breadth of rectangle \[=7.5-3=4.5\] \[\therefore \] Perimeter of rectangle \[=2(12.5+4.5)=34\,cm\]
