    Solution :

    Curved surface area of pillar \[=264\,{{m}^{2}}\] \[\therefore \]      \[2\pi rh=264\]                           ...(i) and       value of pillar \[=924\,{{m}^{3}}\] \[\therefore \]      \[\pi {{r}^{2}}h=924\] ?(ii) On solving Eqs. (i) and (ii), we get \[r=7,\] \[h=6\] \[\therefore \] Required ratio\[=\frac{14}{6}=7:3\]
