    Solution :

    Income in the second year \[=Rs.\,45000\] Income in the first year \[=Rs.\,30000\] Expense in the first year \[=Rs.\,25000\] Expense in the second year \[=Rs.\,45000\] \[\therefore \] Total saving \[=75000-70000=Rs.\,5000\]
