    Solution :

    Let the length of rectangle \[=3x\,cm\] And the breadth of rectangle \[=2x\,cm\] \[\therefore \]      \[2(3x+2x)=20\] \[\Rightarrow \]               \[x=2\] \[\therefore \] Length of rectangle\[=6\,cm\] And breadth of rectangle\[=4\,cm\] \[\therefore \] Area of rectangle \[=6\times 4=24\,\,c{{m}^{2}}\]
