    Solution :

    \[\because \] \[60{}^\circ =Rs.8000\] \[\therefore \] Total expenditure             \[=300{}^\circ =\frac{8000\times 300}{60}\]             \[=Rs.\,40000\] \[\therefore \] Expenditure on education             \[=\frac{30}{300}\times 40000=Rs.4000\]
