    Solution :

    Let the value of the holiday be x. Then pay for seven weeks' works \[=300+x\] So, \[\frac{Rs.300+x}{7}\times 4=Rs.30+x\] \[\Leftrightarrow \]\[Rs.1200+4x=Rs.210+7x\] \[\Leftrightarrow 3x=Rs.990\] \[\Leftrightarrow \] \[x=Rs.330.\]
