    Solution :

     Area of the cross road \[=55\times 4+35\times 4-4\times 4\] \[=220+140-16=344\,sq.\,unit.\] \[\therefore \]  Cost of covering them with concrete \[=\,\,\left( Rs.344\times \frac{75}{100} \right)=\]
