    Solution :

     Let the number of Males = \[100x\] and number of Females =\[100y\] \[\therefore \,\,\,\,100(x+y)=15,000\] \[=~x+y=150\]                                    ?...(i) \[108x+110y-100(x+y)=16,300-15,000\] \[8x+10y=1,300\]                        ?...(ii) From (i) and (ii) \[y=50\] \[\therefore \]  Number of Females \[=\,\,\,\,\,50\times 100=\underline{\mathbf{5000}}\]
