 For each of the two seats, (Position from Left + Position from Right) will be the same. At seat-y, \[(8R+6L)=14,\] Hence at seat-X also, the sum of the positions from the two ends should be the same i.e., 14. So, Mohan's position from the right end at seat-X should be\[14-4L=\underline{\mathbf{10R}}\]. Hence, Mohan's new position is 10th from the right end.
