    Solution :

     4 years ago, Ps age = 5x years Qs age = Gx years According to the question, 5x + 4 + 6x + 4 = 52 \[\Rightarrow \]\[11x=52-8=44\] \[\Rightarrow \]\[x=\frac{44}{11}=4\] \[\therefore \] Required ratio\[=(5x+4):(6x+4)\] \[=\left( 5\times 4+4 \right):\left( 6\times 4+4 \right)\] \[=24:28=6:7\]
