    Solution :

     First discount = 10% of Rs. 65 \[=\frac{65\times 10}{100}=Rs.\,\,6.5\] Price after this discount \[=65-6.5=Rs.\text{ }58.5\] \[\therefore \] Second discount \[Rs.\,(58.5-56.16)\] \[=Rs.2.34\] If the second discount be x%, then x% of Rs. 58.5 =2.34   \[\Rightarrow \]            \[\frac{58.5\times x}{100}=2.34\] \[\Rightarrow \]            \[x=\frac{2.34\times 100}{58.5}=4%\]
