    Solution :

    (a) Marks obtained by Vikran in Chemistry = \[\frac{72}{100}\times 150\]= 108 Marks obtained by Monica in Chemistry = \[\frac{86}{100}\times 150\] = 129 \[\therefore \] Required percentage = \[\frac{108}{129}\times 100\]= 83.72
