    Down?s syndrome?(mongolian idiocy) is a congenital disorder caused by trisomy of chromosome 21, often by non-disjunction. It is chracterised by mental retardation, simian palm, as mongoloid facial features. Turner?s syndrome is due to monosomy of sex chromosome i.e., XO. It was described by Turner 1938. Colour blindness is a recessive sex linked (X) trait in which affected individual cannot distinguish red colour from green coloui. Klinefelter?s syndrome is due to an extra X? chromosome to man (male) i.e., trisomy of sex chromosome.
