    Solution :

    Let the tubes A and Shave equal length called as\[l\]. Since, tube A is opened at both the ends therefore its fundamental frequency                                 \[{{n}_{A}}=\frac{v}{2\,l}\]                          ... (i) Since, tube B is closed at one end, therefore its fundamental frequency                                 \[{{n}_{B}}=\frac{v}{4\,l}\]                           ?. (ii)              From Eqs. (i) and (ii), we get                                    \[\frac{{{n}_{A}}}{{{n}_{B}}}=\frac{v/2\,l}{v/4\,l}=\frac{4}{2}=2:1\]
