    Assertion:           Tropical rain forests are disappearing fast from developing countries such as India. Reason: No value is attached to these forests because these are poor in biodiversity.

    Solution :

                                    Tropical rain forests are located in the equatorial regions where the annual rainfall exceeds 140 cm. They are also called jungles and cover one twelveth of earths surface but contain more than half of the earth flora and fauna (i.e., rich in biodiversity). Now-a-days these forests are become disappearing due to excessive use in domestic purposes like fuel, furnitures, accomodations, cloths, resin, gum etc.
