    Solution :

    In \[{{O}_{2}}N.C{{H}_{2}}N{{H}_{2}}\] each \[C{{H}_{3}}NHCHO\] ion is surrounded by 8 sodium ions and each sodium is surrounded by \[COOH\] ions. Hence, co-ordination number of sodium is 4.
