Two parallel beams of positrons moving I same direction will :

    A) repel each other

    B) will not interact with each other

    C) attract each other

    D) be deflected  normal  to the  containing the two beams

    Correct Answer: C

    Solution :

Key Idea: Direction of current is opposite the direction of motion of electrons.                 Positron is the antiparticle or the antimatter counterpart of the electron. The positron has an electron charge +e. Since direction of current is in the direction of positron, it is experimentally observed that two current carrying conductors attract each other.
