  • question_answer
    Dimensions of electrical resistance are:

    A) \[PE=2E\]

    B) \[E=-136eV\]

    C) \[\therefore \]

    D)       \[PE=-2\times 13.6\]

    Correct Answer: B

    Solution :

                    From ohms law \[=\frac{1}{2}\frac{KZ{{e}^{2}}}{r}-\frac{KZ{{e}^{2}}}{r}\] where V is voltage, R is resistance and I is current.  \[=\frac{KZ{{e}^{2}}}{2r}\]   \[PE=2E\] \[E=-136eV\] \[\therefore \] Alternative:   From definition of time constant t =RC, where R is resistance C is capacitance. \[PE=-2\times 13.6\]   \[=-27.2eV\] \[f=(2.48\times {{10}^{15}}){{(Z-1)}^{2}}Hz\]
