  • question_answer
The primary and secondary coils of a transformer have 50 and 1500 turns respectively. If the magnetic flux \[\beta \] linked with the primary coil is given by \[\beta \], where \[k\Omega \] is in weber, t is time in second and \[\mu F\] is a constant, the output voltage across the secondary coil is

    A)                          90V

    B)                        120V

    C)        220V

    D)        30V

    Correct Answer: B

    Solution :

    The magnetic flux linked with the primary coil is given by \[\lambda \] So, voltage across primary \[{{\left( \frac{1}{2} \right)}^{2}}\] = 4V        (as \[\frac{1}{4\lambda }\]= constant) Also, we have \[4\lambda \]  and \[2\lambda \] From relation, \[\frac{1}{2\lambda }\] or  \[\frac{qvR}{2}\] \[qv{{R}^{2}}\]
