When nitric acid reacts with nitric oxide, a gas is  released, which converts \[[Fe{{({{H}_{2}}O)}_{6}}]C{{l}_{3}},Fe\] into

    A) \[F{{e}^{3+}}\]

    B)        \[F{{e}^{3+}}=[Ar]3{{d}^{5}},4{{s}^{0}}\]

    C) \[{{[Fe{{({{H}_{2}}O)}_{6}}]}^{3+}}=[Ar]\]

    D)        \[S{{O}_{2}}\]

    Correct Answer: C

    Solution :

When nitric acid \[Ca{{({{H}_{2}}P{{O}_{4}})}_{2}}+2CaS{{O}_{4}}.\] reacts with nitric oxide \[pH=10\] gas is released which oxidises \[\therefore \] into sulphur. The reactions are as follows: \[[{{H}^{+}}]=1\times {{10}^{-pH}}=1\times {{10}^{-10}}mol/L\] \[\therefore \]
