  • question_answer
A rectangular coil of 20 turns and area of cross-section \[25\,c{{m}^{2}}\] has a resistance of 100\[-\frac{1}{2}\]. If a magnetic field which is perpendicular to the plane of the coil changes at a rate of 1000 T/s, the current in the coil is

    A)  1.0 A

    B)  50 A

    C)  0.5 A

    D)         5.0 A

    Correct Answer: C

    Solution :

    The emf of coil \[n=\frac{1}{2\pi }\sqrt{\frac{g}{l}}\] and current \[[M{{L}^{2}}{{T}^{-2}}{{\theta }^{-1}}]\] So, the current in the coil \[[{{M}^{2}}L{{T}^{-2}}\theta ]\] \[[M{{L}^{3}}{{T}^{-2}}{{\theta }^{-1}}]\] \[4\sqrt{\frac{h}{g}}\] \[2\sqrt{\frac{h}{g}}\]
