                                              Watson and Crick studied the structure of DNA in 1953. DNA is a double helical structure made up of two polynucleotide chains running antiparallel and joined by hydrogen bonds.             Most of the amount of DNA is found in nucleus while some amounts of DNA are found in mitochondria and chloroplast.
