    Solution :

                    Down's syndrome also known as Mangolian idiocy is a trisomic condition resulting from non-disjunction of chromosome 21. The child is mentally retarded, has flat face and eyes like those found in Mangolian race (and hence the name). The chances of down syndrome in child increases with mother's age and become alarmingly high after the mother reaches the age of 40.
