    A)  megaspore

    B)  microspore

    C)  megasporangium

    D)  microsporangium.

    Correct Answer: C

    Solution :

: In angiosperms and gymnosperms the seed coat is derived from megasporangium or ovule. Seed coat develops from the integuments of the ovule. The outer coat is called testa and the inner layer is called tegmen. Two outer layers of integument i.e., outer fleshy layer and middle stony layer forms the seed coat. The outer fleshy layer becomes cream, orange or red coloured.
