Phenomenon of transduction was discovered by N Zinder and J Lederberg in 1952. Transcription is the process, through which messenger RNA is formed along a DNA template. The enzyme RNA polymerase catalyses the formation of RNA from ribonucleotide triphosphate. Translocadon is the change in position of a segment of a chromosome to another part of the same chromosome or to a different chromosome.
