                     Dark phase of photosynthesis is the phase, in which \[C{{O}_{2}}\] is assimilated with the help of assimilatory power to produce organic substance. The first stable compound is 3 phosphoglyceric acid or PGA in \[{{C}_{3}}\] plants. ATP and \[NADP{{H}_{2}}\] are produced during light reaction of photosynthesis. They provide energy and reducing power for light independent reaction.
