    Solution :

                     Colourblindness is a recessive sex-linked disorder. Person suffering from this disease is unable to distinguish between one or more of the three colour, ie, red, green and blue. Blindness to red colour is called protanopia; to green is called deuteranopia and to blue is called tritanopia. Polio is communicable disease caused by virus picorna virus or rheo-virus. It spreads through blood and lymphatic system, reaches CNS. Muscle do not get impulses and get atrophied that lead to permanent paralysis of arm and legs. Virus also attacks respiratory centres in medulla of brain. In 1953, J Salk developed vaccine against polio called Salk vaccine. Sabin etal, prepared oral vaccine called OPV (Oral Polio Vaccine). Diabetes is a non-communicable diseae. It is disorder of carbohydrate metabolism resulting from insufficient production or reduced sensitivity to insulin, which is synthesized in beta-cells of the islets of Langerhans. Genes for baldness are Y-linked, ie, they are confined to males only. Hence, they are called holandric genes.
