                     Influenza a communicable disease is caused by influenza virus-A and B and its incubation period is 24-72 hrs. Its symptoms are onset of fever for a week accompanied by severe body ache and pain with sore throat. It can be treated by taking sulphonamide drugs. Diabetes is a non-communicable disease. It is a disorder of carbohydrate metabolism resulting from insufficient production of or reduced sensitivity to insulin which is a polypeptide hormone synthesized in beta cells of the islets of Langerhans. Hypertension is hypersensitive disease. It is also known as high blood pressure condition, in which blood pressure, either in arteries or in veins, is normally high. Blood pressure is the force excreted by the blood against the wall of the blood vessels. Kwashiorkor is a deficiency disease. It results due to protein energy malnutrition in the children of 1-4 years due to constant reduced protein availability.
