    Solution :

Vitrous humour is the colourless Jelly that fills the space between the lens and the retina of vertebrate eye. It contains 99% water, some salts, a little mucoprotein (vitrein) and hyaluronic acid. At Its periphery the jelly-like fluid is condensed to form a vitreous (hyaloid) membrane.
