    A)                  nerve cell

    B)                  cardiac muscle

    C)                  red muscle

    D)                  cartilage

    Correct Answer: A

    Solution :

Lipofusin granules are present in nerve cell or neuron. A neuron is structural and functional unit of the neural tissue and neural system. It consists of cell body (cyton or soma) and cytoplasma process. In cell body, the cytoplasm surrounding the nucleus is loaded with protein-synthetic machinery and is known as perikaryon. Ageing neurons contain a pigment lipofusin .which is made up of residual bodies derived from lysosomes. Cardiac muscles are involuntary straited and non-fatigued fibres, which are present in wall of heart. Nucleus is centrally located. Muscle contraction is vigorous and rhythmic Sarcoplasm is rich in glycogen granules (for supply of respiratory substrate) and mitochondria. Cartilage is a soft skeletal tissue. It is not rigid like bone. It is found more abundantly in vertebrate embryos because most of the bones forming skeleton of the adult are cartilaginous.
