                     Ligaments connect bone/cartilage to another bone/cartilage. It is a dense modified yellow. elastic fibrous connective tissue, which occurs in the form of cords. Its matrix is rich in yellow elastin fibres branched in different directions. It is not only bind the bones at the joints but also allows them to more bend or rotates to perform various movements. Tendon is a modified white fibrous tissue, in which white fibre occur in thick parallel bundles, made up of flat and elongated fibroblast cells. It is a small strong, inextensible band, which binds a muscle with a movable structure like bones.
