Mammary glands are modified apocrine sweat glands. In these glands secretory product accumulates in apical part of the cell. Later this part break off from remaining part of a cell and discharged as secretion. Ceruminous glands (wax glands) are present in the exterior auditory maleus in mammals. They are holocrine glands. In these glands, an entire cell, when fitted with secretory product, does and disintegrate and is, therefore, discharged as a part of secretion. Inguinal glands (perineal glands) are cutaneous glands of certain mammals as genital organ for attracting opposite sex. Glands of Zeis are modified sebaceous glands in eyelashes follicle sensitive to allergene in mammals.
