    D)  bone marrow

    Correct Answer: B

    Solution :

End of long bones are lined by cartilage. Cartilage is variously semirigid supportive or skeletal connective tissue, in which the matrix is solid and made up of mucoprotein or proteoglycans called chondrin. The chief substance of ground matrix is firm but hydrated gel like and semitransparent Chondrio Mucoprotein formed of chondroitin sulphate, karotin sulphate and hyaluronic acid. Muscular tissue originates from the primary germ layer, mesoderm. Its functional and structural unit is muscle fibre or myofibril. In human, 639 muscles are present. They are of 3 types?(i) Skeletal Muscles, (ii) Smooth Muscles and (iii) Cardiac Muscles. Adipose tissue is modified aerolar tissue and has all the 3 types of fibres, ie, collagen, elastic and reticular. It is made up of specialised cells adipocytes. Bone marrow is a soft tissue contained within the central cavity and internal space of bone. It is of two types?Red bone marrow, contains haemopoietic tissue and Yellow bone marrow, produces fats.
