B) 3 4 2 5
C) 3 4 5 2
D) 5 3 2 1
Correct Answer: C
Solution :
Active natural immunity (Innate immunity) is possessed naturally by an individual. Such immunity results either from a sub-clinical or chemical infection, ie, direct contact with the pathogens that have entered inside. First line of defence consists of physical barriers of skin, membranes, friendly micro organisms and chemical barriers. In passive natural immunity antibodies passively pass from mother to foetus via placenta. A pathogen having entered body tissue fluid is confronted with second line of defence consisting of phagocytosis and inflammatory response like interferons (anti-viral) properdin (anti-RBCs).You need to login to perform this action.
