    Solution :

                     The total current of the circuits                 \[i=\frac{V}{\frac{{{R}_{0}}}{2}+2R}\]      [\[\because \,i=\frac{V}{R}\]] \[\therefore \] The potential across the resistance R is                 \[V=i\,R\]                 \[=\frac{V}{\frac{{{R}_{0}}}{2}+2R}R=\frac{2VR}{{{R}_{0}}+4R}\]
